Acrylic Foam Tapes

Scapa's Acrylic Foam Tapes (AFT) are designed to provide assembly solutions for a wide range of indistrial applications - where the need is for durability, dynamic strength and high good bond strength. These high performance tapes are an ideal way to create permanent, reliable bonds to an extensive variety of substraces including most metals, glass, plastics, wood, composite materials and painted surfaces. They can be used to replace mechanical fasteners, liquid adhesives, spot welds and other permanent fasteners.

With Scapa's AFTs, completed projects look better than ever -virtually invisible assembly with smooth surfaces. Scapa's AFT range has a greater adhesive tack than many existing tapes. They combine excellent grab with high temperature performance and do not distort over a long period of time. They are also UV and water-resistant, so are ideal for weather strip and exterior applications. Due to their flexibility they are also suitable for curved surfaces.
